July 2019 What a month !!!!

Mum & I went for a long run in the car this week we went to visit Benito & his Mum as Benito has a new puppy sister she is called Bella, she's gorgeous, just 13 weeks at the moment.  I also played with Benito, Ollie the cat, & Ama though she didn't really bother with me as she's a senior lady. Mum could not believe how good I was with Ollie the cat as I just ignored it.

Mum tells me today 4th July is my gotcha day as ..........Two years ago today she brought me home to ease the pain that was left from losing precious Suzi.  The time has gone so fast but Mum still talks about Suzi.

Well Gino you have certainly done that as I could not have got any better as you are so loving & certainly my Shadow. You are one super wee boy you were certainly meant to be in my life.  I guess you knew I needed you as you give me so much love.

Certainly have Suzi's groomer Jennifer to thank for introducing me to her friend Moira who then gave me first choice of choosing you from 5 boys.

Mum tells me tomorrow I'm going back to Mark to be groomed as Jennifer is still recovering from her knee surgery. Mum says I look really scruffy this week as I'm like a teddy bear guess it will be more photos tomorrow & then Mum will be posting.

Well I was groomed yesterday & Mum says I've been rumped, I'm looking very short so hoping it will grow fast.  Mum took me to see Aunty Joan today she works in the Chiropodist where Mum goes to have her feet pampered I also met Donna she's the feet person, she said I was gorgeous.  Anyway Mum tells me that we are off on holiday again this time going to St Annes & we are staying right at a beach that should be good !!

Arrived at St Annes on 20th July to a lovely sunny afternoon, after a wet journery to a lovely enclosed garden all for me & a cosy one bedroom bungalow for the humans.  Mum chatted to a doggy owner who had two Scotties, Mum let them into our garden & I played with the youngest one.  Then George took me to the beach for my morning walk on Sunday & I met the two Scotties again.

It was very hot  when I was out in the garden .... Jazz a Westie appeared in the garden she was a senior lady ..... 15 yrs old she stayed in the big house attached with Jean the owner.  Enjoyed being away but Mum thinks I'm not happy when out of my comfort zone as I stuck to her like glue when we were away.

Think that might be our holidays over now, still it was still warm when we came home, but Mum has booked it for next year.   We went to the beach but the sea was too far out but I played with a black mini Schnauzer who had been rescued as her ears stuck up so the breeder didnt want her.  We are back home now after our holiday. Mum's been busy catching up while I've been sleeping.

Then today 31st July we went in the car as soon as the car stopped I knew where we were, we were at the Doggy Doctor, as usual I sat & whimpered in the waiting room, then when Martin opened the door in I went. He checked me all over as I was there for my annual health check & then I got a jag, but I was very brave as I didnt whimper then I was put on the scales to be weighed Mum a bit annoyed as I'm now 7.6kgs as the last couple of times I've been a steady 7.5kgs so I guess Mum will cut back on the treats until I get back down.

So all in all its been a very busy month Mum says the days are flying past but thats what happens when there is a Schnauzer in your life. xx

Things I love: Just being with my Mum & going for walks also going in the car. I now have my own toy box. Watching out the window is one of my favourite things as I now like to lie up on the window sill & look out into the garden. Mum says I'm in Suzi's favourite spot as she used to do this too. I also like playing with my Ball as I take it back well most of the time. I also love snuggling into Mum when she is watching TV.or on her Laptop

Things I hate: Being groomed just hate going to the groomer

My favourite walks: Going to Prestwick. Parks & the beach But happy to go anywhere with Mum

Other pets who share my home: Haven't seen any so guess I'm an only one ..sometimes Benito comes to stay when his Mum goes on holiday also Hamish & Robbie come to visit.
