I was rescued from Ireland by the Flatcoat Retriever X rescue because they thought I looked a bit like one. My mum was an Irish setter and my dad a working farm border collie. I wasn't wanted though and was dumped on a beach in Cork with my littermates and was the only one to survive.
Now I'm in my forever home in Portsmouth and I have a great life: I love my long walks with my people, especially anywhere near water where I like to paddle up to my shoulders and get thoroughly wet and muddy. I also love my garden where I patrol daily and lie in the sun on the new deck that my humans have made. It's got a pond and I can jump and bark at the fish. It even had something really scary in it which changed everyday and made me bark every time - apparently it was a lily pad making its way to the top - who knew?
