Monday 30 October to 2 November 2009

Friday and we got to have a lie in with mum. We then went for a walk in the fields and we got to meet 2 new dogs, mum and daughter. They were a bit rough, so I sat it out. Even George jumped out of their way a few times and barked. Mum groomed us when we got home. I showed mum how good I can be and was very well behaved. She ticked my paws a bit though but she was understanding because I hadn't flinched the rest of the time. Later we walked to meet dad. We were very tired when we got there but rushed to meet dad, he was so pleased to see him.

Saturday we all went for a walk. Then we got in the car and went to a schnauzer show. There were all different sizes and colours and we saw Mutti and Issac who we met at the fun day out. George and Issac had words again. Wish he would't argue with big dogs. Mum took some liver cake. Mmmmmmm  Issac particuarly liked it and kept hugging mum. Ohh ohh... here we go again. George went barmy. Can't believe mum and dad left us home that night though. George doesn't like fireworks and he drove me mad.

Sunday morning it rained so heavy we all got soaked to the skin and had to strip off when we got home. We got dried down and had breakfast and a cuddle while we watched the rain poring down the conservatory windows. Later I went with dad to visit granddad while George went with mum. I nearly got into trouble because I opened the pantry door and was trying to open the biscuit tin. Anyway granddad gave me a biscuit, so it worked out well. When we got back we had to have a bath. I tried to look my cutest but it didn't work. I do like feeling clean though.

Here I am looking megga cute. Well at least that's what my mum says. Mum said I was trying to avoid bath time.

Needless to say I didn't avoid bath time, as here I am with dad.

Monday was relaxing with mum, walking in the fields, chasing pheasants, sunbathing on the settee and generally enjoying ourselves.

Here we are in the fields this weekend. We'd obviously found something interesting.

Things I love: Food glorious food. Treats. Walkies. Mummy, daddy and George (when he's not too rough). Cuddles and attention, lots of attention. Having my chest tickled, it makes me laugh and rub my eyes :-) Travelling in the car (there's usually a walk involved) Snuggling up with mum and dad in bed at the weekend. Licking the remains of George's food out of his beard. (See my poem 'Love and hate' further down)

Things I hate: Being bullied. Nasty dogs. The stray dogs round the pond. Rain. Bath time. (See my poem 'Love and hate' further down)

My favourite walks: Yes I love walks, the longer the better. Then when I go home, have a nap, I'm ready for another. Running in the fields, in the woods, anywhere I can run with the wind in my beard. The seaside and the beach, there's so many interesting smells. (avoid the rock pools though!)

Other pets who share my home: George, Black Miniature Schnauzer.

My favourite saying: Biscuit. Walkies. Dinner.

Breed: Miniature Schnauzer
