George's birthday blues - October 2008
Events this week - w/c 13/10/08
It's Georges' birthday this week, Friday I think. He's nearly as old as me. On my birthday we both got pressies, so maybe I'll get something too. Liver cake, I hope mum bakes that again, it's making my tummy rumble thinking about it. George says that we might be having a party on Thursday because mum says she is taking us somewhere. I didn't get a party for my birthday, I hope she doesn't love him more than me. AND mum and dad were talking about us going to the seaside. Oh won't it be great? I'll try not to fall in any rock pools this time, that was SO embarrassing.
Some of the presents
we George got for his birthday but this chew was best.

Mum took us both back to the vet for our check up. We didn't mind going even though they had made us groggy and sore. George entered with a 'yabba dabba doo' barks and everyone looked at us. Some giggled, and mum replied embarassingly with, 'we're here'.
George got the all clear but I have to go back later in the week. She said my wound was sore and I had to stop licking it. That's why I'm licking it... because it's sore! Anyway we advanced from the pants, to pants and mum's cut down tights with belt and I feel a prat. They keep laughing at me and saying something about Hong Kong Phooey.
My embarassing outfit mum made me wear.
Me and George laid near the schnauzer statues before I bit the ear off the one on the right. I bit the tail off the one on the left a while ago... don't tell.

It's George's Birthday! We both feel sore and groggy today after our visit to the vets yesterday. We used to like to go there but I'm not sure we will in future. We, I mean George got some presents to open. I claimed one of the chews. Well you have to be sociable on these occasions and after a day like yesterday, I think we deserve something. Mum has made liver cake for later and said there was plenty to go in the freezer for later. OH! and the seaside trip is off. After all that vet had done to us, she went and told mum not to take us because it might harm out wounds. Cutting us open sort of harmed us didn't it? And to think we were so friendly to them all.
