Pen-y-Dyffryn Country Hotel on the Shropshire / Welsh Border

 

Pen-y-Dyffryn's hillside setting, facing the Welsh mountains to the west, promise some of the finest sunsets in the land. There are few places better than the hotel´s terrace, or the fabulous summerhouse, to tuck into tea and cake. 

Inside, a distinctly laid-back style, with log fires at every turn (in winter!), add to the sense of luxury and well being.

Open to non-residents, 7 days a week, Pen-y-Dyffryn is one of the longest established AA Two Rosette restaurants in Oswestry and Shropshire. 

Ingredients are healthy, locally sourced, and tends to the use of organic produce. There is always at least one vegetarian choice at each course. At breakfast there are plenty of choices for everyone, vegans included.

The menu is changed every single day of the year and varies in accordance with the changing seasons. Special diets can also be catered for as everything is freshly prepared each day.

Pen-y-Dyffryn, has been a pet friendly hotel for over twenty years.  **Pets stay free. And we see no reason whatsoever to change our policy.

Ideally placed for dogs, being well away from roads and traffic, with five acres of grounds. A 100-acre woodland is close by with unlimited public access. And lots of good walking on the doorstep Free walking leaflets provided to ensure your pet will have a great holiday too!

There are several “cottage style” rooms, with ground floor access to it’s own private stonewalled patio, in the adjoining Coach House. Sit outside with your pet in glorious relaxation.
