Dunstable Downs - National Trust  Soar above a breathtaking landscape, sculpted over time, decorated by nature and enjoyed by generations. Stand on top of Dunstable Downs for a view that will simply take your breath away. These Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) are designated for the quality of their chalk grasslands. As well as two Scheduled Ancient Monuments (Five Knolls and Medieval Rabbit Warrens) there are many other historical features and the site has much to offer you. The chalk grasslands of the Downs have miles of footpaths and several circular walks, a fascinating history and an abundance of plants and wildlife. Dogs - Under close control, on leads near livestock. Please clear up dog waste and dispose of it sensibly.

Arduaine Garden, Arduaine  Explore the exotic garden. Soak up the breathtaking views. Hunt down carnivorous plants. Rother Valley Country Park  This very large country park hosts a number of walking and cycling routes, which link to the Trans Pennine Trail and Route 6 Sustrans. Leisure lake offers many watersports activities and cycle hire, events are held throughout the year, three fishing areas and an ideal place to enjoy the outdoors. Great venue for a picnic, BBQ's are to be off the ground or visit the stables cafe with outdoor seating for your dog. Customers are to ensure their dogs are under control if off the lead in the park.

Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre  All dogs are welcome to visit the Onny Meadows with their owners as long as you clean up after them - dog bins and gloves are provided on site. The cafe team will happily provide them with a bowl of water to drink outside if they're a bit hot after exploring the meadows with you!

Chiswick House and Gardens  Dog walkers are welcome to enjoy the gardens and exercise their dogs freely whilst respecting other visitors by observing the 'Dogs on Short Leads' and 'No Dogs' areas marked on the map. The Gardens are open every day from 7am until dusk, all year round.

Woodchester Park - National Trust  nr Stroud, Gloucestershire. The tranquil wooded valley contains a 'lost landscape' with remains of an 18th- and 19th-century landscape park with a chain of five lakes. Park Mill Pond is the last of these lakes and features a man-made island that is now a heronry. Large carp can also be seen in the waters. Dogs - please keep dogs under close control and on leads where requested. Please remember to clean up after your dog in all areas.
