Westonbirt - The National Arboretum 

Westonbirt, Gloucestershire 0300 067 4890 You and your dog can enjoy over two thirds of the arboretum!

Dogs are welcome in Silk Wood: a fantastic area to explore with your dog, on the Downs and in the main visitor area. The Old Arboretum is a dog free zone.

Dogs should be kept on a lead around the car parks, and also to be kept outside of the Westonbirt Restaurant, the Great Oak Hall, the shop and plant centre and the toilets.

Please make use of the dog litter bins. Bowls of water are usually available next to the Visitor Services office in the main visitor centre area to keep your dog hydrated.

Trelissick Garden - National Trust, Feock, near Truro 

Although dogs can't go into the garden (except assistance dogs), the estate has miles of woodland walks and open parkland for you and your dog to enjoy.

Our outside courtyard area is dog friendly and has water bowls and sheltered seating. Car park charge. Please clear up dog waste and dispose of it sensibly.

Both the beach and the hut are family and dog friendly. The bay is known for its safe, calm waters. There are free public toilet facilities on site.

We are called The Hidden Hut for a reason. Finding us may turn into a small adventure - but be please be assured that the secluded location is well worth it.

Combe Mill is the original sawmill, and workshop, of the Blenheim Palace Estate 

A Grade II* Listed Building, Combe Mill working industrial museum offers visitors an insight into what work was like, in Victorian times, on a rural estate.

The Mill is operated as a working museum by the Combe Mill Society which is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

Dogs are welcome inside the Mill and the picnic area if kept under control. The Tea Room is excluded.

Killhope, The North of England Lead Mining Museum 

Killhope is famous for its huge working waterwheel. You can experience the mineshop where miners lived, work as a "washerboy" looking for minerals and galena (lead ore).

Dogs are welcome to Killhope. However we respectfully ask that you keep them on the lead and under control while anywhere on site or in the car park. You will find water bowls near the picnic site – plus Killhopeburn runs through the site.

Dogs can go anywhere on site except Park Level Mine or in the cafe.

Disappear into the tranquil and mysterious woodland, where the years of mining have left an unnatural, undulating landscape.

Trewidden Garden is a magnificent Cornish spring garden that is open to the public during the Spring, Summer and beginning of Autumn every year. Dogs are very welcome!

Light lunch & delicious homemade cream teas are available from our recently refurbished tea room. The lawn in front of the tearoom has plenty of picnic tables and room for children to play.
