Christmas 2010

FEBRUARY 2011

Hi, I hope all my doggy friends are well and that you had a lovely Christmas with some nice pressies and toys. We had loads of stuff as usual. Mummy buys lots of soft toys for us from the Charity shops for Christmas, so she supports two good causes, the charities and us!!!

I love toys that talk and sing, I had a lovely panda bear that doesnt shut up!! Daddy has to switch it off especially when he is watching tv as I keep making it talk to me!

February 21st 2011

Hi to all my doggy friends. Good news, I am going to be a grandma again, the puppies are due in March. We are all excited to see what colours they will be. I am also going to Crufts again this year, to represent American Cockers on the Discover Dogs stand, Its a meet and greet the people thing, and I love doing it. My grandson George will be coming with me and probably my friend Faith who is a tri-colour. We think that Cherry-pie my grand-daughter will prob be in season, if not she can come too.

We've had a new sofa in the kitchen to sit on, a brown leather one, mummy got from ebay. The last one was fabric and Kristopher and George used to cock their legs and pee on it. Mummy said that it was getting smelly so she bought a leather one that can be wiped down. It is ever so nice and comfy. Just right for watching telly in the kitchen!!

MARCH 14TH 2011

Today is my 10th Birthday. Mummy bought me new pink diamante collar and lead at Crufts. We are all having cake later, mum has made a buttercream sponge - cant wait, I love cake!

I went to Crufts on Friday with George and Faith, we had lots of fun meeting all the people and children. We had our photos taken so many times. George took part in a demonstration of ringcraft for the Kennel Club in the activities ring and there were some people there who had seen him showing last year who came to say hello.

MAY 2011

Great news friends!! On the 8th of May I became a great-grandmother. My grand-daughter Cherry has given birth to 6 beautiful little babies. I am so pleased and she is letting me give them a kiss after they have been fed. I have a great grand-daughter and 5 great grandsons. They are all doing really well, putting on weight and Cherry is such a wonderful mum first time round. We have named the little girl Scarlett and she will be staying here with us, hopefully making her debut in the show ring later in the year - the fourth generation of Sables bred by mummy in the show ring.

AUGUST 2011

My great-grandaughter Scarlett has had an eye operation last week to correct a cherry eye. It looked very red and sore but is getting much better now. Also my daughter Roxy had surgery on her head yesterday, she had a very nasty growth/wart just level with the corner of her eye. Mummy took her to the vet as she had scratched it and made it bleed, it was horrible. They are both ok now and I am pleased they are healing.

Scarlett has now had all her injections and will be going show training next week.
