Wales July 2010
We have just been on our long weekend break to Wales, That is mummy, daddy and me. I am lucky that they take me with them on little trips. "Uncle" Ian looks after the other dogs while we are away.
We stayed in a nice little hotel called "The Leamore", in Llandudno. It is owned and run by a nice lady called Tracy and her family. It is one of the few hotels there where dogs are allowed to stay with their people, they were very friendly and welcoming. The resident dog is a lovely Golden Retriever called Boddington, he is only a young lad but we became friends. I think he fancied me a bit because he always came to say "hi" to me after breakfast and he always wagged his tail at me. I had lovely breakfasts there, mummy and daddy saved me some bacon and sausage every morning.
We did quite a bit of walking, I walked along the promenade and chased the seagulls, cos they poo'd on mummys new car every morning dirty things!
I went to Betsy cowed and saw the swallow falls. I also went on a little tram up to the top of the Great Orme, it was very windy up there but I liked the tram and a lot of people stopped to say hi to me. I went to the pub for dinner, there are a few places where dogs are allowed to go while their people eat.
I had a lovely time, but I was so pleased to be back home to see my family again, get on the sofa in front of the tv and sleep in our bedroom again.
