Marley

     Marley was rescued, and we have made her birthday as the day we picked her up from the Rescue home. She is a good dog, apart from her frustration and fear of other dogs, that makes her seem like she is aggressive, but it is more fear than anything. She is currently being clicker trained to stamp this out, with a mixture of Ceasar Milan in there as well!

 

    Marley was rescued from our local dog home, and was given to us as a Rottweiler Cross, but after looking on the internet, I think she is more of a Doberman cross. What she is crossed with, Im not too sure! We dont know much abotu her past, but know she was just dumped, and from her behaviour, I would say that she has been mis-treated by an older man, and possibly goded on a lead for fighting. She is now very happy, and learning new things every day. 

 

    She sleeps for most of her days, and loves being curled up all warm and cosy. She also loves to go on long walks and loves walking up the local technology park, as there are loads of rabbits to chase and interesting sniffs.

 

   I take loads of pictures of Marley, as I am a photographer, and you can see a few examples here. She loves the photos being taken, and sometimes even poses!

   In the future, I want to be able to walk Marley off the lead, and be able to socialise with other dogs with no problems. Hopefully through training this will all be possible, and although it will be hard work, it will be well worth it!
