narrow boats

Well I have had a wonderful holiday on a narrow boat down the canals, I became Captain George. It was great fun sitting by the tiller as Dad steered us down the canals and I had long lovely walks beside the boat with Mum , The evenings were long walks with lots of smells and warm snuggled up nights inside our new home. I of course found the hot spot by the radiator and managed to block my familites path up and down the boat quite sucessfully, Mum made sure I was safe around the water and looked after me while Dad and my playmate Marcus did all the work, just as well as all Mum could do was steer us into the bank. We are going to come again perhaps next year.

I am now full grown and 16 months old, I weigh in at 24 kilos, no fat, just a large strong Collie, Mum says I get that from my Dad. I am out every day running with my family, its great especially now I love running after a ball. I have started agility at Mill on the Soar club and its wonderful, lots of lovely dogs to smell and play with after out workout. I am mastering all the equipment, even the scarry tunnel is nothing now, its just those poles you have to wriggle round that I find tricky. I bark and bark and bark, its brilliant.

We are off for a walking holiday in the Peak district later this year and I will write and tell you how it went.
