Billy was born on a sheep farm in Cumbria.
Somehow he ended up at the Dogs Trust, Snetterton in Norfolk.
We had recently lost our black lab cross that we had got from the same place 14 years previously, when I saw Billys little face on their web site. He was 6 months old then.
I 'd had a border collie before so I knew how much energy they required to keep up with them.
He still has a bit of a vet phobia but we are working on that.
