I think this week is going to be eventful. Mum and dad keep talking about us, I'm not quite sure what is going on though. I know it's my birthday on Friday! I'm 3 years old which apparently is 21 years old in our terms. Something is happening the day before too but I can't understand what. Maybe we are having a party with all our friends? Mum and dad said we might also got to the seaside this weekend. I was so excited last night, I ran to the car and wagged my tail at mum. I don't like the car but I know we have to go in it if we are to go to the beach. 'Not today', she said. How long is it to the weekend and my party? I can't wait till it's my birthday and I get pressies. Might even get liver cake like Max did.
Here we are we some of my pressies. Mum thought it would be amusing to put the life belt round my neck. Ah ah ah! How we laughed :-)

It's my 3rd Birthday (21)!
Am I having a great birthday? NO!
That surprise birthday party turned out to be a trip to the vets. What had I done wrong? We all went in together and then mum left us and we cried after her. They gave us something that made us sleep and when we woke up we were sore and groggy and bits of us were missing. After a while they came and took us to mum. The vet told mum that we wouldn't be hungry but we showed her! She also said we couldn't go to the seaside this weekend. SPOILSPORT!
We were really happy to see her and went home and cuddled up on the sofa. Mum was concerned because we were crying, we couldn't help it. Our aunty and nephew called round, mum told him to leave us alone because we weren't well. It didn't stop me crying when I saw him go in the garden with the football. When dad came in he made us some pants that make us look silly and I can't walk in them properly.
Go on George, let me have a play.
When we were feeling a bit better this morning, mum got my presents out for me (and Max) to unwrap. I got four toys and several chews and biscuits, which mum put in our cupboard for later. Mum has made a liver cake too. Can't wait for that, I wonder if she'll put a candle in it? We haven't felt too good today but mum said when we do, we are all going to the seaside for real.
Left: Here I'm hunting for squirrels in the garden.

Right: My ungentlemanly pose.
