Forde Abbey & Gardens
Chard, Somerset 01460 220231 Well behaved dogs are welcome at Forde Abbey on a short lead and the gardens make a favourite walking spot for many of our visitors. Dogs are allowed to accompany their owners into the tearoom and there is always a bowl for thirsty dogs at the tearoom door. Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs into the house.
Site user comment: Hi I just wanted to thankyou for a lovely day we spent yesterday at what must be the most dog-friendly property we've been too so far at Forde Abbey House & Gardens. The dogs are allowed in restaurant and wonderful gardens. What a practical attitude to dog poo..the leaflet says to put into flower bed and not use polythene bags! We had a great day out.
