The Sheffield Round Walk
The Sheffield Round Walk is a fourteen mile walk through the parks, woodland and countryside of south west Sheffield.
It starts in Endcliffe Park at Hunters Bar goes through Whiteley Woods up into Mayfield and Porter Valley, emerging at Ringinglow before descending again into Whirlow and Ecclesall Woods. There is an ascent into Ladies Spring Wood, through Beauchief and Chancet Wood then into Graves Park and down through Gleadless Valley, returning to Hunters Bar via Meersbrook Park and Brincliffe Edge Woods.

Rother Valley Country Park
This very large country park hosts a number of walking and cycling routes, which link to the Trans Pennine Trail and Route 6 Sustrans. Leisure lake offers many watersports activities and cycle hire, events are held throughout the year, three fishing areas and an ideal place to enjoy the outdoors.
Great venue for a picnic, BBQ's are to be off the ground or visit the stables cafe with outdoor seating for your dog.
Customers are to ensure their dogs are under control if off the lead in the park.

Stand on top of Dunstable Downs for a view that will simply take your breath away. These Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) are designated for the quality of their chalk grasslands.
As well as two Scheduled Ancient Monuments (Five Knolls and Medieval Rabbit Warrens) there are many other historical features and the site has much to offer you.
The chalk grasslands of the Downs have miles of footpaths and several circular walks, a fascinating history and an abundance of plants and wildlife.
