Durdle Door  Very Steep Steps and path to access beach. However once there sea is very inviting steady slope into water which was very clear.Also coastal path runs along top of cliffs.Again ample parking(pay &display).Access to car park is through a caravan park that allows dogs to stay This beach suggested by site user Tim. Great Yarmouth Beach  A great beach here, it's at Gt Yarmouth, a lovely sandy beach. It's at the docks end of Yarmouth. I love it there & so do my dogs, highly recommended. This beach suggested by site user Suka. To email details of your favourite dog friendly beaches just click the link below

Skegness Beach  Brilliant sandy beach stretching north of the pier for about 1 &-a-half to 2 miles towards Winthorpe - where there are 2 dog friendly cafes and a pub! This entry suggested by site user BeachBaby Please remember to 'Scoop' and keep these beaches dog-friendly and safe for all!

 

Weston Super Mare - Sand Beach  This beach, which allows dogs all year round, has been suggested by a site user who says " all beaches here are best used when the tide is in or you and your pooch may end up very muddy indeed". Another Weston Super Mare beach - Weston Beach - is open to dogs from October to March. As always, please remember to clean up after your dog!

 

Cleethorpes Beach  "Lovely for walking dogs" is the area of this North East Linconshire beach know as 'the fitties' says a site user. This stretch of beach is, apparently, never crowded and you'll see the friendly faces of other dog walkers as you explore this stretch of golden sand. Some rectrictions do apply to certain areas of Cleethorpes beach so please watch out for the usual notices.

 

Hornsea  Hornsea is a lovely small seaside town on the coast of East Yorkshire. Beyond a certain part of the beach central to the ameneties, dogs are allowed all year round. Miles of golden sand (it is possible to walk from Hornsea up the coast 6 miles to Skipsea - probaby won't see another soul on the way). Dog Friendly Britain site users suggestion

 

Eype in Dorset  Site user recommends: Eype in Dorset - between Chideock and West Bay is a pebble beach where dogs are welcome at all times.

 

Beer in Devon  Site user recommends: Beer in Devon, between Seaton and Sidmouth. Dogs are allowed on the East Beach to the left of the slipway, again this is a pebble beach. It has the added advantage of having a lovely pub the Anchor Inn with a glorious garden overlooking the sea where dogs are welcome also.

 

Lyme Regis - Monmouth Beach  Site user recommends: Lyme Regis - Monmouth Beach -Sand and Pebbles. As with all beaches - please clean up after your dog and remember to check tides!

 

Charmouth - East Beach  Site user recommends:Charmouth-East Beach, before 10am and after 6pm. Mainly sand and great fun for dogs who love to run in the sea as it is gently shelving. You can walk a couple of miles along this beach and collect fossils while you're at it. As with all beaches - please clean up after your dog and remember to check tides!

 

Holkham Beach, Norfolk  Site user recommends "Holkham beach - it's about a 2 minute drive from Wells Next The Sea. You do have to pay for parking but it's for the whole day! When the tide is out - you have to walk about a mile to get to the water! There are sand dunes and a wooded area runs along the coast too! My two water loving Labradors adored this beach while we were on holiday and we took them there every day! If you're feeling very energetic - you can actually walk to Wells... When we arrived for the first time, we checked that dogs were allowed and as long as you clear up any dog waste - they welcome them with open arms"
NOTE: there is a Nature Reserve close by - please keep your dogs on a lead if requested to do so.

 

East Runton Beach, just up from Cromer, towards Sheringham  Site user recommends: this is a dog friendly beach with lots of space to run about. Handy dog- waste box at entrance to the beach.

 

Kennack Sands - Cornwall  Dog friendly East Beach all year round
West Beach between October & April

 

Southend Beach  No dogs are allowed on Southend's beaches between 1st May and 30th September.

Where ever you stay in Pembrokeshire you should not be more than 15 mins from a dog freindly beach, if a beach is not on this list its either mud flats or dogs are banned at all times.

Flamborough Beach - North Landing   Dogs allowed throughout the year. Please remember to clear up after your dog at all times!

 

Sandsend - nr Whitby  There are certain restrictions on the main area of beach in the summer months but a large stretch of beach to the south and all the way down to Whitby is available to dogs.

 

Cleethorpes Beach - too!  Dog Exercise Area along Cleethorpes Beach begins from the Award Winning Blue Flag and Quality Coast section from Cleethorpes Leisure Centre to the Humber Mouth Yacht Club approximately 2.5 miles of Nature Reserve/SSSI/RSPB. The area offers low lying smooth flat walking terain, no hills or steep gradients to climb, beautiful views over looking the Humber Estuary, good access, good parking and public convenience facilities nearby include the Boating Lake, Model Boat Association / Sand Pit / Outdoor Paddling Pool / Food Outlets. Miniature Railway / Retail Outlets /Theme Park / Caravan/Camping Area's.
