Filey Beach  5 mile stretch of beautiful sandy beach. Although there are 'dog restrictions' during the summer months there's also a huge amount of beach available to walk dogs. Whitby Beach  Dog restrictions apply on the main south beach during the summer months but much of the lovely sandy beach to the north - all the way to Sandsend - is acessible to dogs & their owners! Dog Friendly Beaches around Swansea  A Dog Friendly Britain site user tells us that "dogs are allowed all year round at Oxwich and Rhossili beaches". Weymouth Beach  The part that dogs are allowed on is flat and sandy with easy access to the water. However the area is only really about 200 sq. metres (maybe better suited to small dogs). There is a road next to the beach (the promenade) where you can park (pay & display). This beach suggested by site user Tim.

Bamburgh Beach  Bamburgh Beach is a great place for dogs as there's not only the fantastic beach but there are also huge sand dunes for them to play on / in! Please remember to 'Scoop the Poop' to ensure that beaches remain dog-friendly and safe for use by all.

 

Perranporth Beach  Dos allowed on the beacah all year, however, dogs will be required to kept be on short leads on certain stretches of Perranporth beach from 1st July to 31st August. Please remember to 'Scoop the Poop' to ensure that beaches remain dog-friendly and safe for use by all.

 

Sandsend - nr Whitby  There are certain restrictions on the main area of beach in the summer months but a large stretch of beach to the south and all the way down to Whitby is available to dogs.

 

Cleethorpes Beach - too!  Dog Exercise Area along Cleethorpes Beach begins from the Award Winning Blue Flag and Quality Coast section from Cleethorpes Leisure Centre to the Humber Mouth Yacht Club approximately 2.5 miles of Nature Reserve/SSSI/RSPB. The area offers low lying smooth flat walking terain, no hills or steep gradients to climb, beautiful views over looking the Humber Estuary, good access, good parking and public convenience facilities nearby include the Boating Lake, Model Boat Association / Sand Pit / Outdoor Paddling Pool / Food Outlets. Miniature Railway / Retail Outlets /Theme Park / Caravan/Camping Area's.

Crantock Beach  One of our many site users recommend this as being a dog friendly beach all year round.

 

Porth Joke - also know as Pollyjoke  Site user recommends this beach which is south of Fistral Bay in Newquay.

 

Holkham Beach, Norfolk  Site user recommends "Holkham beach - it's about a 2 minute drive from Wells Next The Sea. You do have to pay for parking but it's for the whole day! When the tide is out - you have to walk about a mile to get to the water! There are sand dunes and a wooded area runs along the coast too! My two water loving Labradors adored this beach while we were on holiday and we took them there every day! If you're feeling very energetic - you can actually walk to Wells... When we arrived for the first time, we checked that dogs were allowed and as long as you clear up any dog waste - they welcome them with open arms"
NOTE: there is a Nature Reserve close by - please keep your dogs on a lead if requested to do so.

 

East Runton Beach, just up from Cromer, towards Sheringham  Site user recommends: this is a dog friendly beach with lots of space to run about. Handy dog- waste box at entrance to the beach.

 

Kennack Sands - Cornwall  Dog friendly East Beach all year round
West Beach between October & April

 

Southend Beach  No dogs are allowed on Southend's beaches between 1st May and 30th September.

Where ever you stay in Pembrokeshire you should not be more than 15 mins from a dog freindly beach, if a beach is not on this list its either mud flats or dogs are banned at all times.
