Dog free zone for 200m either side of the beach entrance at Shore Road. Please take note of beach safety flags and signage. Codes of conduct available. No Lifeguard cover.

Woodchester Park - National Trust  nr Stroud, Gloucestershire. The tranquil wooded valley contains a 'lost landscape' with remains of an 18th- and 19th-century landscape park with a chain of five lakes. Park Mill Pond is the last of these lakes and features a man-made island that is now a heronry. Large carp can also be seen in the waters. Dogs - please keep dogs under close control and on leads where requested. Please remember to clean up after your dog in all areas.

Chiswick House and Gardens  Dog walkers are welcome to enjoy the gardens and exercise their dogs freely whilst respecting other visitors by observing the 'Dogs on Short Leads' and 'No Dogs' areas marked on the map. The Gardens are open every day from 7am until dusk, all year round.

Rother Valley Country Park  This very large country park hosts a number of walking and cycling routes, which link to the Trans Pennine Trail and Route 6 Sustrans. Leisure lake offers many watersports activities and cycle hire, events are held throughout the year, three fishing areas and an ideal place to enjoy the outdoors. Great venue for a picnic, BBQ's are to be off the ground or visit the stables cafe with outdoor seating for your dog. Customers are to ensure their dogs are under control if off the lead in the park.

Naturally, there are some restrictions - for both your safety and others - like in our car parks, where dogs must always be kept on a lead.

Cirencester Park  Cirencester Park is open to the public free of charge, on foot and on horseback, by kind permission of the Earl Bathurst. Please ensure you note and comply with the opening times and rules shown (see website link below). Opening times 8am to 5pm. Superb walk for your dogs here in a park which is conveniently positioned adjacent to the Caravan Club site. Please respect the 'no dogs' areas, always clear up after your dog and take your litter home!

Studland Beach in Dorset - National Trust  Studland Beach in Dorset is a wonderful place for dogs and owners to relax and have fun. There are three and a half miles of beach and plenty of dunes to explore. Dogs are welcome at Studland but, for the enjoyment of others, restrictions are in place at certain times of year.

Weymouth Beach  The part that dogs are allowed on is flat and sandy with easy access to the water. However the area is only really about 200 sq. metres (maybe better suited to small dogs). There is a road next to the beach (the promenade) where you can park (pay & display). This beach suggested by site user Tim.
